Information we collect
Depending on how you use the website, Forge Nation TCG may receive:
- Account information: name, email address, login status, and account identifiers when you choose to create an account.
- Order information: products, quantities, totals, payment status, shipping address, email address, order number, carrier, and tracking details.
- Review information: a public display name, rating, title, and feedback submitted after the website verifies the order number, email, and purchased product. A one-way hash of the checkout email is stored with the review record.
- Wishlist information: cards saved to an optional customer account.
- Contact information: name, email, topic, optional order number, and message submitted through the contact form.
- Technical information: browser or device details, security logs, IP address, and basic request information processed by website-hosting and security providers. The store creates a shortened hashed identifier from network and browser signals to recognize repeated failed payment attempts without placing a raw IP address in the order record.
- Device storage: cart contents saved in browser storage and authentication cookies used to keep signed-in customers connected.
How information is used
- Process payments, fulfill orders, and provide customer support.
- Create and maintain optional customer accounts and wishlists.
- Send order confirmations, shipping updates, tracking information, and replies to customer questions.
- Prevent fraud, spam, abuse, unauthorized access, and payment disputes.
- Maintain store records, improve website reliability, and meet legal or tax obligations.
Payments
Debit and credit card payments are processed by Stripe, and PayPal payments are processed by PayPal. These providers receive information necessary to complete the selected payment method. Forge Nation TCG does not receive or store a customer's complete debit-card or credit-card number on its own website systems.
Fraud screening
Orders may be flagged for human review using payment-provider risk signals, billing and shipping postal-code or country differences, unusually large totals or quantities, and repeated failed payment attempts. A flag is a warning and is not treated as proof of fraud. Forge Nation TCG reviews flagged paid orders before fulfillment and may contact the customer when clarification is needed.
Service providers
Information may be processed by companies that help operate the store, including Stripe and PayPal for payments, Supabase for optional customer accounts, Resend for transactional and contact-form email, Shippo and USPS for postage and delivery, and website hosting, storage, and security providers. Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy practices.
Forge Nation TCG does not sell customer personal information. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to operate the store, protect customers or the business, investigate misuse, complete a transaction, or comply with a lawful requirement.
Cookies and browser storage
Essential cookies are used to maintain secure login sessions. The shopping cart may be stored in the customer's browser so items remain available during the visit. Blocking cookies or browser storage can prevent account, wishlist, or cart features from working correctly.
Data retention and security
Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, including order fulfillment, support, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes, and legal obligations. Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online system or method of transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
Creating an account is optional; customers may shop and check out as guests. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information controlled by Forge Nation TCG by contacting the store. Some order or transaction records may be retained when reasonably required for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute purposes.
Children's privacy
The website is intended for customers able to make purchases and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so the request can be reviewed.
